The Rome Temple campus is owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. These buildings serve different purposes in worship, education, and helping others grow closer to each other and Christ. Please feel free to contact any of our facilities to get more information.
Rome Temple
The Rome Italy Temple is the pinnacle of the grounds, where members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints perform sacred ceremonies, learn, and come closer to God. While visitors and tourists can walk the grounds and explore the Visitors’ Center, only members attending these ceremonies can enter the Temple.

Visitors’ Center
The Visitors’ Center offers free tours led by helpful missionary guides. They are volunteers that come from all around the world to give service to you and your loved ones. These missionaries are expert guides who will help you have a personalized and unique experience.

Family Search Library
FamilySearch Library at the Rome Temple attracts visitors from all over the world that come to find information about their ancestors. The center offers free access to genealogical data for billions of deceased ancestors from around the globe. The Rome FamilySearch Library is a free community resource and everyone is welcome to come and use it.

Patron Housing
Patron housing is available for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who travel long distances to worship in the Temple.
